Connection doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. It’s the small, everyday moments that make the biggest difference. Here are five simple ways we can connect with our kids each day, no matter how busy life gets:

1- Start the Day with a Check-In
Ask how they’re feeling about the day ahead, what they’re excited about, or if there’s anything on their minds.
2- Create One-on-One Moments
It doesn’t have to be elaborate—just a walk around the neighborhood, reading a book together, or a quick trip to the grocery store.
3- Be Fully Present (Even for 10 Minutes)
Set aside 10 minutes to engage with them—whether it’s building a puzzle, listening to a story, or just sitting together without any devices.
4- Share Something from Your Day
Share something from your day—a funny moment, something you learned, or even a small challenge you faced.
5- End the Day with Gratitude
Before bedtime, take a few minutes to reflect on the day together.
